I served as a judge for a series of children’s competitions organised by HOPE ’87 Bangladesh between January 2023 and December 2024, including the Night School Children Book Reading Competition, Pencil Sketch Contest and Acting Competition. Sitting on the judging panel, I evaluated the performances and creative work of night school students, offering constructive feedback to help them grow in confidence and skill. It was a meaningful experience for me as a journalist and mentor, supporting initiatives that encourage children’s education, creativity and empowerment.
