As part of my international journalism and travel reporting assignments, I covered Switzerland’s tourism industry in October 2023. The feature focused on portraying Switzerland’s breathtaking natural beauty, sustainable tourism initiatives, and deep-rooted cultural richness, which together make the country one of the world’s most distinguished travel destinations.
During my coverage, I explored Switzerland’s efforts to maintain a balance between environmental preservation and tourism development, highlighting eco-friendly travel models, scenic mountain destinations, and community-based tourism projects that preserve local traditions. Through a series of on-site reports, interviews, and visual storytelling, my work offered viewers of ATN Bangla Television an authentic glimpse into Switzerland’s successful integration of sustainability and luxury in its tourism sector.
This assignment further strengthened my portfolio as a journalist dedicated to promoting global travel, culture, and sustainable development reporting, reflecting my continued commitment to presenting diverse international perspectives to Bangladeshi and global audiences.
