In 2010, as a journalist representing ATN Bangla, I participated in the International Year of Youth: Workshop on Youth and Peace Building held in Chandigarh, India. Organized by the Commonwealth Youth Centre for Asia under the framework of the United Nations International Year of Youth initiative, this prestigious international workshop brought together young leaders, journalists and peace advocates from various Commonwealth nations. The program focused on exchanging knowledge and developing strategies to promote peace, tolerance and social harmony. My participation demonstrated my strong dedication to fostering constructive youth leadership and utilizing journalism as an effective tool for peace building, intercultural dialogue and social development. Through my active involvement, I contributed to meaningful discussions that supported regional cooperation and advanced the Commonwealth’s core values of democracy, equality and sustainable peace.
