I was honored with the Action Aid Young Journalist Fellowship in 2021, organized by ActionAid Bangladesh to recognize young journalists who have demonstrated excellence in youth-focused, rightsbased, and socially impactful reporting. The award ceremony was held at the CIRDAP Auditorium, Dhaka, and graced by Dr. Hasan Mahmud, Honorable Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Government of Bangladesh, as the Chief Guest. During the event, selected young journalists from different media houses were awarded fellowships and crests in acknowledgment of their outstanding contributions to amplifying youth voices and promoting positive social change through journalism. Through this fellowship, I was recognized for my impactful reporting that shed light on youth empowerment, gender equality, and access to essential public services. The program aimed to build the capacity of emerging journalists to strengthen youth-oriented reporting and advance social justice narratives in national media.
