Today, I serve as a Special Correspondent at ATN Bangla, and I am recognised as one of Bangladesh’s leading development and business journalists. I remain active in civic and educational initiatives—debate, book projects and youth programmes—and I am a member of Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU), Broadcast Journalist Centre (BJC) and Bangladesh Agricultural Journalists Forum.

I received the AmCham Frontline Journalism Award, which recognised my contributions to business and economy reporting in Bangladesh.

Covering major national & international events
I have reported from major global platforms such as the World Bank–IMF Annual Meetings in Washington D.C. and Bangladesh Investment Summits in the UK, France, Germany and Belgium. I have also covered live events from Switzerland, Italy, Turkey, Nepal and India, building my profile as a development and business journalist.
2013
Becoming a full-time television journalist at ATN Bangla
I became a full-time TV journalist at ATN Bangla. Since then, I have produced and reported more than 1,500 television news stories, interviewing development leaders, economists, policymakers and corporate executives.
2010–2012
National recognition for development reporting
My work in development and social issue reporting was recognised nationally with several honours, including the UNICEF Meena Media Award (2010) and the ASF Media Award (2010–2012).
2002
Joining ATN Bangla’s Emmy-winning youth programme
I joined ATN Bangla’s youth show “Amra Korbo Joy (We Shall Overcome)”, which later received the 32nd Emmy Award (2004). This experience gave me international exposure at a very early stage of my career.
Early 2000s
Reporting for national newspapers
I worked as a reporter for leading national dailies including Prothom Alo, Bhorer Kagoj, Daily Ittefaq and Daily Sangbad, where I sharpened my skills in development and public affairs reporting.
2001
My first steps in journalism
I began my journalism journey as a child reporter with Mukto Khobor at Ekushey Television (ETV). This early exposure to broadcast news laid the foundation for my future as a TV journalist.
